Running is more important than people =seb Coe

like the duke of york the olympics are down to one man, the one who up till now has taken the applause Mr sebatian Coe , isnt the disaster with security ultimately down to him ?"All I've done is run fast. I don't see why people should make much fuss about that."This is a quote from an olympic runner and the same should have been applied to Coe who has what skills in running an olympics?
But theres more
Wednesday the 27th of June will mark one month to the Olympics. Dow’s wrap has begun to be installed around the Olympic stadium, cladding the Olympics in Dow’s toxic legacy. That doesn’t mean there is nothing left to fight for.
While the wrap itself does not feature Dow’s logo, it is a constant reminder to the people of Bhopal that LOCOG is more interested in their corporate sponsors than in the humanitarian and environmental tragedies those sponsors leave in their wake.
Dow Chemical now owns the company (Union Carbide) responsible for the Bhopal gas disaster in 1984 which affected over half a million people and has killed an estimated 25,000 to date. By refusing to present its subsidiary in court to face charges of ‘culpable homicide’, Dow is sheltering Union Carbide from the law, and preventing justice being done. 120,000 people in Bhopal are estimated to live with chronic health problems because of the disaster, and because of the water contamination caused by Union Carbide dumping its toxic waste in the ground, which has leached into the water supply for over 30,000 people.
In support of these actions, we ask you to join us in demanding that Lord Coe, head of LOCOG, stops defending Dow’s toxic legacy, and that he apologises to the survivors of Bhopal for deciding that Dow could try to boost its reputation by sponsoring the London Olympics.
Around MIDDAY on the 27TH JUNE, Tweet your demand to Seb Coe:
Dear @sebcoe, Apologise to Bhopalis for defending Dow’s toxic legacy. #DisqualifyDow. Help make Bhopal poison free. http://tinyurl.com/822f9xq
