A flying left winger, Jimmy Dimmock will go down in history as the man who scored the winning goal in the 1921 FA Cup Final at the tender age of just 20.born in 125 Brettenham road Edmonton
Spotted as a schoolboy at nearby Edmonton Ramblers, Spurs moved quickly to sign Dimmock on amateur forms and having been allowed to turn out for Clapton Orient during the war, he became a professional at the Lane in 1919.
He was soon a fans' favourite with his mazy runs and trickery catching the eye as we lifted the Second Division title in 1920.
Dimmock also had an eye for goal - he scored 100 in 400 league games - and it was a surprise to many that he did not win more than his three England caps.
He was released by Spurs in April 1931, joining Thames, before moving to Clapton Orient and Ashford before retiring
