FAKE TANS

Smart girls fake a tan these days, and I’ve just discovered Famous Dave’s Tanning Mousse Gold Edition (£28.99, www.boots.com), which is great.
Let’s face it, though, we all get caught out and on the days your legs are looking pale I recommend Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs (£9.95, www.boots.com). It’s a spray that instantly covers up any imperfections and evens out skin tone. It simply washes off at night and really does do miracles for legs.
M&S Tess Daly Legs (£9.50, www.marksandspencer.com) helps fake perfect legs and also has a great shimmer for nights out. Another top tip is to moisturise. Dry legs never look good and I’m hooked on Nip + Fab’s Dry Leg Fix (£10, www.boots.com), because it will work by leaving your legs fantastically smooth all day long.
The brand has also seen a massive 125% rise in sales for their Tummy Fix cream (£19.95, www.nipandfab.com) after it was reported that it could help to reduce cankles!
The cream contains caffeine and synephrine, ingredients that activate the breakdown of lipids in fat cells. The jury is out on it, but it could be worth a try.
And as for ensuring you are hair-free, then the best insurance policy you can have is to make sure you get your hands on a bottle of Nair Hair Removal Gel, £2.55, www.boots.com, which works wonders.
It washes off in five to 10 minutes and means that you won’t get caught out again.
